Fusion SOAP Client/Server
provides a low level C language application program
interface (API) for performing client and server Simple
Object Access Protocol 1.1 communications. SOAP provides
A RPC (Remote Procedure Call) capability using XML encoding
which allows greater platform independence and interoperability
with enterprise networks. The SOAP implementation supports
the Hyper Text Transfer Protocol (HTTP 1.1) and includes
both HTTP client and server. The HTTP protocol is built
on top of a Berkeley Sockets Interface and has existing
ports to Fusion, Windows and Linux. The SOAP API is divided
into four sections:
- Client Framework API
- Encoding API
- Server framework API
- Decoding API
