Sharp Corporation Purchases Unicoi Embedded Software

ATLANTA, GEORGIA – October 19, 2005 – Unicoi, one of the industry’s most respected embedded software developers, today announced that Sharp Corporation has purchased its embedded software solutions for an unnamed new project. Sharp Corporation is worldwide leader in Liquid Crystal televisions (LC-TV).

Unicoi’s customers have used the Fusion software suite to speed time to market and lower development costs for intelligent devices. Unicoi’s software products, from VoIP Reference Design to Web software like the WebPilot embedded browser, to some of the most advanced security software for embedded design, are smarter, smaller and more efficient than other embedded software. Used together, the products have helped some of the world’s most important manufacturers create landscape-changing electronics.
