Unicoi Systems, Inc. Announces Support for New High-Performance Blackfin Processors®

ATLANTA, GEORGIA – March 11, 2004 – Unicoi Systems, Inc. (formerly DSP OS, Inc.), a leading provider of software solutions to the embedded device market, today announced the immediate availability of the Fusion RTOS (embedded Real Time OS) for the newest high-performance Blackfin Processors from Analog Devices, Inc. (ADI). The new Blackfin Processors—the single-core 750MHz ADSP-BF533 and the dual-core 750MHz ADSP-BF561 for symmetric multi-processing—are targeted at consumer multimedia, communications, automotive and industrial applications.

By choosing the Fusion RTOS, embedded developers can take advantage of the complete Fusion suite of embedded products tailored for the Blackfin Processor. Aside from the Fusion RTOS, the Fusion product line includes Fusion Net: a collection of TCP/IP-based networking protocols (TCP/IP, UDP/IP, RTP, DHCP, SNMP, etc.), Fusion Web: a suite of embedded web services (MicroBrowser, XML, SOAP, etc.), Fusion Secure: state-of-the-art embedded security protocols (IPsec, IKE, SSL, HTTPS, etc.) and the Fusion Flash File System.
