Unicoi Systems to Support ARM7 Processor Family
Extends Fusion RTOS Support to ARM Microprocessors
SAN FRANCISCO, CALIFORNIA –
April 23, 2003 – Unicoi Systems, Inc. (formerly DSP OS, Inc.), a leading provider of software solutions to the embedded device market, today announced the availability of the Fusion RTOS (embedded Real Time OS) for the ARM7® family of processors. The release of the Fusion RTOS for the ARM7 will provide embedded developers with a high-performance, royalty-free, small-footprint alternative to existing ARM7-based RTOS offerings.
While the Fusion RTOS is scalable enough to power most any embedded device, its true value comes from its performance in networking and media-centric applications. Its functionality includes objects for streaming data, very low processor overhead, stack sharing capabilities and fully integrated interrupt controls. The Fusion embedded RTOS is XML-enabled and comes with the Fusion embedded XML SAX Parser, which allows embedded devices to natively use XML for its inherent data management benefits.
Unicoi is offering the Fusion QuickStart Platform for the ARM, which includes the Fusion RTOS, Fusion TCP/IP, the IAR Embedded Workbench for the ARM (EWARM Compiler/IDE toolchain), and the AIJI System OPENice32-A900 JTAG emulator for an unmatched price of $24,995.
